Signal Average Electrocardiogram (SAEKG)

A signal-average EKG is a procedure done in the same manner as a resting EKG, except that the heart's electrical activity is recorded over a longer period of time, usually 15 to 20 minutes. Signal-average EKG is done when arrhythmia is suspected but not seen on a resting EKG, since arrhythmias may be short-lived in nature and not seen during the short recording time of the resting EKG.

No special preparation is required prior to testing. Signal-average EKGs are being performed in: Elyria (NOH), Lorain (NOH) and Sandusky (NOH).

Other miscellaneous testing procedures:

Electrocardiogram (EKG) | Exercise / Treadmill Stress Test (GXT) | Holter Monitoring | King of Hearts Monitoring | T-Wave Alternans (TWA)
