North Ohio Research Clinical Trials

Due to the vast diversity of our patient population and the wide array of expertise our physicians maintain, our clinical trial experience encompasses all areas of cardiovascular medicine and select areas of primary care medicine.

Clinical Trials by North Ohio HeartWe are currently involved in 50+ drug and device clinical trials at 5 different locations (Elyria, Lorain, Middleburg Heights, Sandusky, Westlake) in various stages of enrollment or follow-up. All of which are approved and overseen by the sponsoring company, Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and independently operated Institutional Review Boards. We comply with the necessary governmental imposed rules and regulations in regards to the management of clinical trials and good clinical practices. These trials are generally Phase III or Phase IV in nature in which the safety of an agent has been proven and the trials are specifically evaluating efficacy.
