Peripheral Vascular Ultrasound
Peripheral vascular ultrasound is a test used to evaluate the health of blood vessels. Peripheral vascular ultraosunds are non-invasive examinations of arteries and veins using ultrasound or Doppler. Tests include carotid duplex, venous duplex, physiologic arterial testing (PVR) and arterial Doppler.
Testing can take anywhere between 45-60 minutes. No special preparation is required prior to testing. Peripheral Vascular Ultraosund is being performed in: Elyria (NOH), Elyria (OMG), Lorain (NOH), Medina (NOH & OMG), Middleburg Heights (Southwest - NOH & OMG), Sandusky (NOH) and Westlake (NOH).
